Introduction

Masai School (Masai), an edutech company based in Bengaluru, India, offered six- to seven-month-long courses through a coding bootcamp in full stack web development, Android development, and software development to unemployed students from Tier 2 and 3 engineering colleges as well as students from non-computer science backgrounds. In February 2021, Masai School reported that about 90% of the batch of 49 students that had passed out in November 2020 had been placed. Out of the 49 students, 46 had been placed at an average remuneration of INR0.66 million.
